After today, the Contest Points List will no longer be used to further your score. But the contest isn't over!

On Friday, April 22nd, you will be asked to submit an essay in order to earn more points toward the rod and reel; and again on Friday the 29th another essay on a different topic which will be announced on Apr. 25th.

For this week's entry into the essay portion of the contest you will need to write a fictional account about the following topic:

"My First Fish on the Rise Level Series fly rod!"


The essay will be judged on originality, humor and creativity. There will be a thread posted and unlocked on Friday April 22nd, where you can link to your story in order to have it validated!

Points Available:

Best Essay: 2500 pts.
2nd place: 1500 pts.
3rd: 800 pts.
