Profile Use

If you're new to forums, it all can be a bit confusing. Especially when it comes to all the options you have under the "Profile" tab. One of these "tricky" things is the signature line. Once you're logged in, you can go to your Profile and select "Signature." This will put a little blurb under your post each time you make a new post or reply to someone's "thread." But here's the tricky part! The default setting for including your signature is set to "NO." ( Don't ask me why!)

So to enable a signature line, you have two steps to perform: First, what we talked about above, and next you must click "Preferences" under the "Profile" tab to go to the Preferences options screen. Once there, you will see the option to "Always include my signature" - change that to "YES" and each time you make a post, your signature line will appear at the bottom of the entry!

Now, what IS a signature line? Well, it's just a little space for something you'd like to share; a quote you really like, something funny, a link to your blog or website....pretty much whatever you want as long as it stays in line with the rules here. ( Keep it PG rated )

So make sure that you've got the "YES" button checked under Preferences and your signature will show up for all the world to see!
