Teriyaki Sauce/Marinade
This looks like the perfect place to share this easy teriyaki recipe I learned a while back. Easy as can be and I refuse to buy teriyaki sauce after learning this.
Ingredients (can be adjusted proportionately)
- Mix together in bowl
1/3cup worcestershire
1/3cup soy sauce
1/3cup brown sugar
1tsp cinnamon
1-2tsp minced garlic (adjust as you please)
*optional dash of cayenne pepper ... I like it spicy!
That's it. We have lot's of elk from my father-in-law and it is pretty gamey. I marinade the elk in this and it is spectacular.
Enjoy!

Re: Teriyaki Sauce/Marinade
Mmmm...elk! Sounds great.
My marinade for game meat (deer meat) is some Dale's (soy sauce with some garlic powder and other stuff in it), some worcestershire, and then the kicker...coca cola. Let it set over night at least. Coat meat with olive oil and sear it good on both side. I've never had a gamey piece of meat with this.
